CASS Oversight Manager

Kohort Recruitment is supporting a leading UK investment and wealth management business in appointing an experienced CASS Oversight Manager.
This is an opportunity to join an established CASS Oversight function, playing a key role in protecting client assets, strengthening governance and ensuring effective management of CASS risks across the business.
Working closely with the Head of CASS Oversight, you’ll provide technical expertise, constructive challenge and assurance across operational activities, change initiatives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver CASS oversight activities, including thematic reviews, monitoring and targeted risk assessments.
- Provide technical guidance and challenge on CASS matters across business operations, outsourcing and change programmes.
- Oversee the identification, escalation and remediation of CASS breaches, incidents and control weaknesses.
- Review and challenge changes to client asset processes, systems and controls.
- Support CASS governance, risk assessments, management information and Executive and Board reporting.
- Maintain CASS Resolution Packs and support regulatory submissions, including CMAR.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, auditors and regulators on CASS oversight and assurance matters.
- Contribute to improvements across CASS frameworks, policies and oversight methodologies.
About You
We’re interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Experience within CASS oversight, client asset compliance, risk, audit or governance in regulated financial services.
- Strong working knowledge of FCA CASS requirements and their practical application.
- Experience assessing operational risks, control effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Exposure to CASS governance, regulatory reporting and senior management committees.
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders, providing constructive challenge and influencing outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
